Saudi Aramco seeks a qualified electrical technician with current Hands On’ experience in the electrical field. The candidate will work as a trainer/evaluator with the Human Resources Development Division that coordinates and conducts training activities to enhance the workforce in the Gas Operations organization. Candidate is expected to have direct field experience in a Hydrocarbon or heavy engineering environment and be familiar with the following equipment and systems: Induction motors from 1/2/hp through to 16,000hp, Synchronous motors and excitation ABB, Gas turbines and generator sets IMVA to 45KVA, cathodic protection, control circuits HV & LV, starter LV & HV, Switch gear 480V and 4160V DC ground faults, UPS (Exciter and Gutor), and Battery chargers (Larmarch and Gutor). Experience must include the installation maintenance and repair and trouble shooting of equipment and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (Industrial/Vocational Education or Engineering/Science) plus two years of direct training experience in the skill area to be taught.
- In the absence of a degree, candidates need to have eight years relevant industrial experience.
Task Description:
- Instructing trainees in plant primary and auxiliary systems.
- Preparing personalized lesson plans.
- Observing counseling and evaluating trainees.
- Developing performance-based tests.
- Making recommendations on and assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and training aids.
- Monitoring and evaluating performance of craftsmen and technicians in the field.
