Job Details   Saudi Aramco seeks a qualified technician who is current and specialized in the Process Control Systems field. The candidate will work as a trainer/evaluator with the Human Resources Development Division that coordinates and conducts training activities to enhance the workforce in the Gas Operations organization. Candidate is expected to have direct field experience in hydrocarbon processes, and be familiar with the following systems and equipment:
  • Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD)
  • Compressor Control Systems
  • Vibration monitoring equipment
  • Analyzers and field Instruments such as transmitters, temperature elements, control valves and smart positioners
  • SCADA, and
  • PLCs.
Experience must include maintenance/repair and troubleshooting of equipment and fault analysis of process systems. On Job Training experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:
  • Instructing trainees in plant primary and auxiliary systems.
  • Preparing personalized lesson plans.
  • Observing counseling and evaluating trainees.
  • Developing performance-based tests.
  • Making recommendations on and assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and training aids.
  • Monitoring and evaluating performance of craftsmen and technicians in the field.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Industrial/Vocational Education or Engineering/Science) plus two years of direct training experience in the skill area to be taught.
  • In the absence of a degree, candidates need to have eight years relevant industrial experience.
